Greg Rhodes, Lead Pastor
Greg has been serving the Hmong community for over 20 years. He started in youth ministry back in the 90s and is really just an overgrown kid. He and his wife, Pang Foua, launched RiverLife in 2014, but he’s most known for his viral LEGO Hmong paaj ntaub.
Kong Moua, Campus Pastor
Kong is married to his best friend, Pang, and they enjoy shopping at Marshall’s, eating birria tacos, and doing ministry together. Kong has been with RiverLife since 2016 and has taken on various roles, including youth director and associate pastor, before leading the Brooklyn Park campus.
Jeremy Garland, Children’s Ministry Director
Jeremy is a missionary kid who grew up learning the value of serving others. His passion is teaching children and making disciples of the next generation. He is a nerd who loves Jesus. Anything superhero or anime-related, and he's on board. His favorite superhero is the Flash, and his favorite anime is Naruto.
Johan Yang, Worship Director
Johan and his wonderful wife, Pajjar, are proud parents to Gwyneth and Harlow. When he was 19 years old, Johan experienced a life-changing encounter with the Holy Spirit during a worship service. Since then, he has been passionate for others to experience the same.
Shong Vang, Campus Worship Leader
Shong is a Chicago native who moved to Minnesota in 2016 to serve a larger Hmong community through worship. He enjoys traveling, hiking, trying new foods, and gaming. But his favorite hobby overall is fishing. His two favorite rivers are the Mississippi and RiverLife.
Pang Foua Rhodes, Spiritual Growth Director
Pang Foua gets invited to sit at tables she never dreamed of as a little refugee girl! But her favorite activities haven't changed—reading till all hours of the morning, laughing and crying with great friends over good food, sleeping in on weekends and rainy days, and window shopping.
Pang Moua, Family Ministry Director
Pang is a passionate educator and has worked with hundreds of children and families. She’s married to Kong Moua, her best friend and ministry partner. Pang’s favorite pastimes are thrifting, watching Marvel movies, and playing with her nieces and nephews.
Tommy Lor, Youth Pastor
Tommy is a die-hard Milwaukee Bucks fan with too much team gear in his closet. When he's not spreading the Bucks gospel, he finds joy in connecting with students, embarking on adventures with his wife, Shining, and karaoking songs from the mid-2000s.
